Polyurethane Molding

Services At

Elastas

We specialize in the production of different types of polyurethane foams – standard high resilience foam, Crib 5 certified foam, Visco elastic foam and rigid polyurethane foam.

All of these types of foam we can mold according to your needs. Every shape for home, office and contract furniture is possible thanks to top of the line equipment.

We can produce molds using different materials, depending on what surface treatment is used during the upholstery and what are the general requirements for quality. We do molding specifically for prototyping too.

Polyurethane Molding Types

ElasPoint

A sustainable solution in the range of molded polyurethane foam products. The ElasPoint foam is made partly from 100% renewable content, which originates from plants. ElasPoint has similar qualities to our standard high resilience foam and can be molded according to your needs.
High Resilience foam
Standard High Resilience (HR) foam is most often used in the production of furniture and transport industry. It is characterized by high response rate and long lasting comfort. The durability and longevity of HR foam makes it a perfect choice for comfort seating. We can mold the foam to any shape desired, with varying density and hardness. All our standard High Resilience foam is California TB 117-2013 certified. It can also be produced to comply with Crib 5 fire retardancy standard used almost exclusively in UK market.

Visco Elastic foam
Also known as memory foam, Visco Elastic foam has a slower response rate and lower resilience. It is less bouncy and more adaptable to outside objects in contact with it. Visco Elastic foam is mostly used in bedding and healthcare markets, thanks to it’s unique ability to match the human body perfectly. We can mold the Visco Elastic foam according to your needs, any size or shape you prefer. When developing products, we can also easily combine both the standard High Resilience foam and Visco Elastic foam to achieve additional comfort.
Rigid Polyurethane foam
Rigid polyurethane foam has closed – cell structure. This type of foam has similarities to plastic. It has high density and durability. It’s possible to combine rigid foam together with metal and plywood parts – to facilitate upholstery and to ensure even higher level of strength.
